Noah's Mom Rocks!

I (Grace) am not the most time conscious person in the world. This I admit, and if you care to hear the full report you can arrange a briefing with David Lee. He usually has a few words to share on this point. According to the Original Dave Lee, his tardiness can always be attributed towards legitimate reasons. But apparently, I am always late for no apparent reason. Hence, I am the greater offender. Which very nicely segues into my next point.

Another interesting fact about me: I am not conscious nor gravely concerned with the greater forces and influences that the majority of the world lives by, e.g., calendars in general, 24 hour clocks, national holidays, David's temporal ethics, etc...

My internal clock tells me that today is on or about near Halloween. So today's blog will feature Noah in his very first Halloween costume.

Now, like most major discoveries, Noah's costume was a serendipitous event. So the final product that you see was neither intentional nor timely. Clearly, we are nowhere in the vicinity of October and Halloween. But like I said -- I don't care.

May seems to be a fine month to dress in character as any other.

So, today we are going to talk about Halloween Costumes. And also, highlight some of my stronger traits: resourcefulness and creativity.

Though this may be surprising to some of you, I used to be rather studious and frequented the library for educational purposes like studying and research. The computer lab in the basement of the library provided these green foam earplugs. I LOVED them. Partly because they served a very useful function and partly because they were free.

Enter resourcefulness.

By the time I finished school I had accumulated quite a stash of these wonderful and free green foam earplugs and years later I find myself applying them to the ears of my delightful little son.

Enter Noah's First Halloween Costume.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Now isn't that creative?

I asked Noah what he thought of his costume; if you listen carefully you can hear him say: "Mom Rocks!"
