on his behalf...).
It was only until Susie came over the other day and showed me her Xanga site that I was motivated to actually get 'er done and get this blog started. So ShoutOut to Susie! You get a rockSTAR !
STATE OF THE UNION
I. David
David is doing well. Busy as ever with his business. And with tax season just around the corner, the man is running on warp speed. But I would be omitting very critical information if I were not to include the Giants in my report. Baseball season is literally days away and David eagerly awaits Opening Day like a young blushing maiden anticipates the sound of wedding bells on her big day.
Opening Day is April 7th at San Francisco AT&T Ballpark. My suggestion for you would be to look for him there if you have any tax questions.
For more information on the Giants, visit: www.sfgiants.com.
II. Noah
Noah...how do I love thee....let me count the numerous ways.
Noah is an absolute--miracle--for lack of a better word. He is a constant joy and watching him grow and change with each and every day is better than any reality show on TV.
Some recent developments:
1. No more slithering on his stomach and using his face to inch his way across the living room. Noah has finally graduated to the proper crawling stance.
3. Noah can feed himself. Granted not much makes it into his mouth...but he is developing those motor skills!
4. He climbed the stairs today for the first time! Just a few, but as they say, "Every journey begins with a step".
5. He can sit up on his own.
6. Some Noah blurbs: "Nay-nay-nay", "Day-day-day", "Mmmmmm", "Da-da-da-da", "Mmmmmmm-a".
Noah also enjoys playing the piano, working on the laptop, playing with the remote control, putting everything in his mouth and exploring every nook and cranny he can squeeze himself into.
III. The Bathroom
Last Monday we had a toilet overflow and the master bedroom got flooded. I won't go into it for reasons of brevity, however, I will say that it sucked.
It sucked.
IV. Grace
I am currently reading "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". Work is uneventful. My most recent culinary success: Huevos Rancheros. I have a dozen boiled eggs sitting in my refrigerator because I never got around to dyeing and decorating them for Noah this past Easter. I would share some more of the exciting and fascinating details of my colorful life, but I imagine what I've shared with you has been more than enough excitement for one day.
